The day skipper-shore-based course will find it invaluable if you want to learn how to start making decisions on board.
This Theory Course introduces the students to the concepts of navigation (plotting a course, dead reckoning, etc), basic meteorology and reading weather forecasts, seamanship from nautical terms to safety at sea, the compass, and the basics of anchoring and materials used for lines and sails. We introduce lights and navigation aids such as buoys and markers and sound signals in limited visibility.

Dettagli del corso
The course is taught over 40 hours with two exam papers. It can be covered as a series of short sessions, as an intensive week-long course.
